About Me:

I'm an artist/illustrator/graphic designer based in Birmingham, AL (USA). I change styles all the time, usually rotating between three or four main ones. Some are created digitally, others are created traditionally using acrylics on canvas.

Digital Street Pop:

The pieces shown here are from my "digital street pop" style. This style is primarily influenced by cartoons, "lowbrow" art, and street art. I started working this way in order to utilize the vast amount of useless pop culture knowledge that I have. The style is based on two main ideas: 1.) Nothing in contemporary pop culture ever really goes away. It just accumulates. 2.) There is no hierarchy of information in contemporary pop culture. Everything is equally valuable/disposable. Therefore, everything is interchangeable. Some of these pieces have concepts beyond that, but not all of them do.
