Biography:
Who is George Webber ?,
I'm a freelance artist living in good old San Francisco. I'm originally from the East Coast (Boston) and I spent a few years in Colorado as well, but I eventually moved to California to be with the girl that would become my wife and get away from the cold. But little did I know that the city of San Francisco was California's icebox.
As an artist,
I enjoy making a wide range "art", I make cartoons, comics both books and strips, caricatures, pinups, jewelry and many other odd things. I design, draw and color all my own art and hand make most all of the jewelry. Over the years I've notice people seem to have started collecting my work, either for themselves or to give as gifts to friends, family and coworkers. So I created my web site to act as my portfolio, sales platform and general creative outlet for all my creations and other crazy things that I enjoy doing.
Anyway, I've been an artist in some form or another all of my life, my focus is on cartooning, illustration. It all started at a very early age back in the 50's with TV cartoons and Science Fiction movies and progressed quickly to Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's Weirdo characters, Playboy's Vargas Pinups and cartoons by Gahan Wilson and Doug Sneyd came into my life. There where many other influences over the years but these where some of the earliest ones.
Over the years I became involved in every type of art I came across, airbrushing, photography, murals, tattooing, building web sites, game graphics, animation, sculpting, customizing bicycles, custom motorcycles, hot rods, kooky clocks, I build my own computers and hell I even my dye my wife's hair !
So that's who I am in a nut shell ... or a nut case depending on how you want to look at it.
